OUR WORK

What About The Children is a pipeline to underserved communities for services needed.  In our efforts to encourage the social development and educational growth of our youth, we provide workshops, resources, group events and college tours.  We include the family, school, church and community in our endeavors.

OUR IMPACT

What About the Children is transforming communities one child at a time. Many of our initial participants are in college.  Several have graduated with BA and Associates degrees.  Others are graduating from high school and going on to higher education.  Some are enlisting in the military.

OUR YOUTH

What About The Children is primarily focused on the youth in the Oceanhill/Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York. We provide services to children of all ages.  Many of those children are of minority origins, come through the city’s shelter system and/or live in substandard conditions.
